Did somebody say TERRIBLE???

Cuz this Sweet baby boy just turned TWO!!! I Can't believe it! 2?!? He's still my baby ( for 4 more months )! He's the sweetest, cuddliest, most loving little dude you'll ever meet. Not a day goes by that he doesn't throw cliff and I into a giggle. And when the terrible does sneak out of him one of us always has to comment, "but he's so cute!"
Come on... Don't you wanna squeeze his cute little guts?

Engaged.....

This was my first engagement shoot. So much fun! We had plans of going to a pretty park here in town with a pond and bridges and lots of fun (for here anyway) backgrounds. Well.... We got there and the WHOLE park was blocked off for a wedding. Bummer! So... we made do with the next best park in town. I think we made it work....what d'ya think?

IT'S A........

My kids and my babysitter are hanging over my shoulder waiting for the news. I just got home from the dr. and I won't tell them till they read it on my blog, so they're forcing me to make the blog post right now. I can't even get my scanner to work so that i can show you a picture of how cute the little baby is.
So..... ( they hate me right now) I play bunco with a group of friends and tonight is the big night. When I told my friend stephanie that I was finding out the gender the same day as bunco, she suggested we play a little game. She thought it would be fun to hand out either Almond Joys or Mounds, depending on the sex of the baby. Do you have it figured out yet? Come on, you know the jingle.... " sometimes you feel like a NUT, sometimes you don't....."
Anyway, this is what I'll be handing out tonight

So my babysitter thinks that she is so clever and funny for figuring that one out (shame on her!)
But, for those of you that can't figure it out by that little clue, and for my girls who are anxiously waiting for me to literally spell it out for them.....

WOOHOOO...... WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BOY!!!

SWIM LESSONS '07

So I finally got off my butt and got my kids signed up for the last session of the summer. Phew! They are loving it! SOOOOOO happy to be in the water. I don't know how much they'll improve this year with just one short session, but i can tell that their confidence is much higher than before.

Bella's class got to put on lifejackets today and float in the deep end. So much fun for her.

Haley's class gets to make a daily run for the diving board. She scares me a little trying to do spins off of it.

...and then there's poor little Jack. Mommy wasn't brave enough to put on a suit and joing the "mommy and me" class. So we just hang out and watch. Next year, Jack!

A 2 year project...

When Jack was born (aug 2005) my mom came out to help, visit, etc. While she was here, she decided to share her love for knitting with Haley by teaching her how to knit a scarf. Haley was only 5 years old at the time, and it was amazing how quickly she caught on. Her attention span for the scarf would only last for small spurts and then she would forget about it here and there and eventually the scarf got put aside. She picked it up again earlier this year and got right back into it. When she got close to the end, I had no idea how to help her. So... when grandma came to visit in may of this year, we thought we better pull the scarf out and let her help Haley finish it up in the few days that she was here.
Well, she finally finished and is so proud of her cute little 2 year project. She really did a great job and I can't wait to see her wearing it to school when the weathers cools down. Her next scarf she hopes to donate to charity ( so grandma better come back soon to help her get started on that one).
