Christmas is coming...

and I can't believe it's that time of year already!! We haven't done a thing to get ready. This isn't even our tree. This picture was taken at Christian's house last week. Looking at it definately puts me in the mood for some good christmas music by the fire. I guess it's time to go get a tree too. This is the first year that I'm actually debating buying a fake one. So taboo, I know, but it seems like it will be so much easier, and cleaner, etc. I'll just buy christmas scented candles and that will be good enough, right? We'll see, I guess. For now, I'll just enjoy this picture of little Jack!

Happy Birthday Haley!!!

I can't believe that Haley is 7 years old! It seems as though I feel older on my kid's birthdays than on my own.
I hardly ever get pictures of this silly girl, but I couldn't forget today. I wouldn't even let her have her after-school-snack til I was done shooting. I was too afraid all of the good light would be gone. So here she is, my pretty little birthday girl!

This was WAY too Fun!

Here they first paying Clients (I guess that's only if they order something :))This was way too fun for me! I could do this all day with families like this one. The kids were soo good and easy to work with. Not to mention absolutley beautiful! Look at them! The whole family! I think they made it too easy on me and I'm sure to hit disaster next time. I'm not even 1/3 of the way through proofing, but i'm finding so many that I love. I hope the family is happy with these...

Cheap Entertainment...

Dash's Doghouse arrived this week via UPS and this is the box that it came in. The thing is HUGE. It has been entertaining the kids for days now and I think that I'm going to hate to get rid of it. It's gonna have to go sometime, but until it falls apart, it's our cheap entertainment

My budding Artist...

Here are a few pictures that Bella made for me a couple of days ago. She's getting better, but sometimes I still have to ask her what she has colored for me. This was one of those time. The descriptions I got....

... A bunny laying eggs...

...a mommy laying a baby..
oh, If it were only that easy...:)

My kiddos

I think that it's time to give up on family portraits for this year. Forget about trying to get all my kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile. I even bribed them and this is the best I got. Oh well,...maybe next time

A (not so) Newborn...

He was six weeks old and refused to shut those big beautiful eyes. Don't get me wrong, I like these pictures of him and he's a beautiful baby, but I'm a sucker for wrinkly, sound-asleep, curled up in a ball newborn captures. Can you believe those eyes?!?

...and my beautiful niece!

She's so beautiful with the most captivating eyes. My camera and I just couldn't get enough of her.

...and yes, she had to have a tutu too!

My Cute little Nephews

Awwww, aren't they the cutest! These are a few more from my trip to Ohio. It was so fun to have new little models to work with. Ethan was a doll and was so willing to pose for my camera.

my kids at play

I spent the day following behind my kids with the camera to see what kind of action I could capture. Here's a few to show that they do get along sometimes. I need to hang these up somewhere in my house to remind of this on the days that there is kicking, screaming, biting and soforth. Infact Bella is standing at my side right now tattling on Haley. Off to the rescue I go....

Bella and her babies...

Since I can remember, Bella has been such a lover of her babies. She collects them, hords them, doesn't share them, but lovingly takes care of them. You'll hardly ever see her with out one. Maybe someday, I can be as good of a mother as her.

Jack's new love..

is books, books, books. When he wants me to read to him, he picks out a book and walks backwards right into my lap. He could read all day long. If he reads by himself, he blah, blah blahs all the words. I was so glad that he sat still for a minute to let Bella read to him so that I could snap a few pics of it.
