Blessed..
Yesterday was "C's" baby blessing. We waited so much longer with him after he got sick that I was worried about him fitting into his outfit. Surprisingly, he squeezed right into it. He looked perfect! Cliff's parents and his brother came out to be part of it so we had a little family time.

Where did you get such a sweet outfit?? Our baby will be blessed in a few weeks and I'm frantically searching for something. SDFHDSJF. :D Love these pictures. They capture the reverence of the day. Love that. :D

these are just gorgeous, his outfit is so cute! i like to bless my babies when they are little too but i would have waited too.
I remember when we bought that outfit! Wasn't it a 0-3? I'm amazed that he fit--thank goodness. I love that first one with Cliff. Where were you when we blessed Cohen?...oh yeah, having a baby. Our next babies we're getting together for sure--double baby blessings!

I'm still struggling with capturing the images I want, so I gave up and brought my son to (dare I say) JcPenney Portrait Studio. I was worried that if I waited until I was a good enough photographer & had a full night's rest, he'd long be past blessing photos. Anyway, their set up was NOT what I pictured & their photographer seemed quite new.
I saw your stunning blessing photos, knew I'd be sad if I didn't have something of my son, so I tried again with some black fabric. I'm no professional, but I'm so glad I tried again. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

I e-mailed you a while back about resizing your shots for blogger... anyway, I've never actually commented on your blog- but I couldn't let this one pass without saying something. Your children are absolutely beautiful. I mean that in every sense of the word. :) And you are a fantastic photographer. I'm new to this whole world- but if you had a moment, maybe you could check out my blog and tell me how I can get shots more like yours. You'll see on my blog that our kids (yours and my one little girl) look like they could be from the same family! It's so funny to me. I look at your older girls and think that that's what my little girl will look like some day! Anyways, great job on "c" blessing photos, you're amazing!

These are BEAUTIFUL!!! Makes me want to wake my baby up at the crack of dawn and take some pictures of him. Oh wait, he will probably wake me up at the crack of dawn and I will want to force him back to sleep :)
