From the Weekend....
I've been feeling a bit unmotivated with this whole camera thing. I really am looking for some new inspiration.... maybe some better weather would help too. Anyway.. I'm not completely satisfied with these pics, but I got my camera out of the bag and did what i could... Maybe this week will be better...

I'm going to disagree with Jordan and Lorrie because I like #2 best. I don't know what it is but there's something about her face, and the composition of it that makes it's more child like KWIM?
Anyway, I don't know if you're running a desaturation action on your shots but in my computer they seem a bit undersaturated (is that a word?? hmmm).
I loved looking at your entire blog. I'm in love with yesterday's post with her lips smashed against the glass. Sooo funny. Again, totally childlike!
And those tutu shots...wow! They are so funky and fun! I'm glad the girls kept the hair do's (mine won't) because I think it frames their face perfectly. Plus the environment where you're shooting makes it even more interesting.

The 4th and 6th are SO cute! They really show her personality. And no, you didn't sound grumpy at all...I think that we all get in that camera "slump" every now and again...at least I know I do! I think that these look terrific though!

I hear you with unmotivated. I really am convinced it has something to do with the weather we had. But your pictures still look fantastic.
I don't know what you're smoke'en but the 2nd one is absolutely beautiful! I know what you mean though, I go through dry spells all of the time!

Do you use simply natural light? I love the evenness (I know, not a real word) of the light on their faces. I've been in a big time slump for a while now, and your photos inspire me to get out my camera and just play.
I'm a BIG fan of your BnWs, you know that. But...I actually prefer the color here, probably because of the intensity of them. I think we ALL go through seasons of slumps, just hang in there and it will all come back to you. And say...if you're bored, by some black felt;)
