My SECRET Weekend

...or my trip to the SECRET WORKSHOP. It was a funfun weekend, visiting family, hanging out with my BFF, Holly, and attending the SECRET WORKSHOP put on by Cheryl Muhr and JINKY!!! For a few hours of the workshop all the attendees got to go out side and photograph kids. We spent some time with Cheryl and some time with Jinky, watching them "work it" in real life. Then we did our own thing. It was a bit chaotic with so many photogs trying to capture models at the same time. I think I got a few, and ONLY a few worth sharing...

Chub-EEEEEEE

I just love how squishy this little guy is! My scale is horrible, so i'm not quite sure how much he weighs, but i'm guessing about 15 pounds. Not bad for a 2 month old that started out at 7lb 15oz and lost weight at 2 weeks while he was sick in the hospital. You know that song that goes, "My milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard...".. Yeah, my friends say that's my theme song when I nurse. I just wish him gaining more weight, meant me losing it... Oh well...I LOVE me some baby chubs!

They've pretty much been collecting dust this past year so I thought I pull one out and make bella wear it for a little photo date. The funky outfit definately fits her spunky personality.



okay - this next pic is totally out-of-focus, but I had to show you the building we found that matched her outfit PERFECTLY! She wanted nothing to do with this. She said that she could see what it looked like in her mind, and it looked DUMB! Well... it wouldn't have looked dumb if she would have stood still for more that 2 seconds. :)

2 months...

...goes by way too fast with a newborn.

Our Photo Date...

I just got my book back from BLURB where I had them "slurp" my blog. My kids love having my blog in their little hands so they can look at it for hours. However, one of the first comments I got from "H" was... "There's hardly any pictures of me in here."
Oops... She was sooo right. It seems like I always have my camera out while she's at school or just not in the mood. So.. Friday we headed out on a special photo-date together. We had so much fun and she did so great posing for the camera.
Don't you think she's so Beautiful!?!

Sweet Hearts!

Yesterday Jack came to show me his valentine's day sweet hearts that his big sister had shared with him. I asked him what his hearts said. His response.....
"Ummm..... They don't talk."
It made me giggle. :)
