Monkey-ing around with my camera

Yeah! I found my manual mode on my little "point and shoot" camera. I'm just trying to figure it out....see if I can get some better snapshots of my kids. Haley was at school and Jack was asleep so Bella got to to be my model....What do you think?

I had to try some in b&w (and remove the silly tag from the neck of her shirt).

Amanda,

Cute pictures! I especially like the ones of Bella in the shade. The shade helps to spread even light across the face and you don't have to try to deal with harsh shadows and squnity eyes. They all seem a bit underexposed to me, but you may be able to fix it in your photoexplosion. I also try to get "Catchlights" in their eyes - it helps their eyes come alive! Hey - you asked for it - so I'm helping you out! Really, they are cute!

Okay Amanda -- What in the world is manual mode -- do I have one of those??? The pictures are adorable -- try to copy them at walmart and they will think they are professional photos and make you go get a waiver from the photographer!! They tried to get me to do that once and they were from my Kodak Easyshare camera! It's amazing what we can do!! Thanks for adding to your blog!
