A new baby...

Don't worry, he's not mine. He was a cutie though. This is my friend's new baby(only 1 week old) and she was kind enough to let me come practice my photography on him. I had so much fun! I really hope that she likes them.

He's getting way to big for me. I know everyone says it, but they grow up too fast.

Just when I thought..

that I wouldn't find anything interesting to photograph today. I was in the shower when Bella decided to try to help Jack get some cereal. She said that he "accidentally" spilled the whole box. Bummer! And to think that I thought it would be a good day to shave my legs. What happens at your house when you're in the shower?

IsaBELLA

I wanted to practice again this morning so I asked Bella to be my model. I had to bribe her with some juice and a piece of gum. I think I need a photo treat basket or something cuz I aint giving up on this photography thing. Thanks for being cute Bella.

My 3 Homegirls...

I was getting the itch to takes some photos of some new models, not that I don't love to take em of my kids all day long, but i needed someone new to practice on. These are my new 3 cute little models. Thanks for letting me play guys....Oh yeah, word to your mother!

Haley

Here's my pretty Haley at the park today. I got "photoshop" this week and was messing around with the different things that I can do with it. Fun stuff, huh?

I was just trying to freeze some action with my camera at the park today. It is hard to focus on a moving target.

I'm the Meanest Mom EVER!!

Okay, so the kids are upstairs playing choochoo train with the bar stools and I hear Jack scream. Haley comes running down stairs yelling that Jack is stuck. I walk up there to see this and the first thing I do is tell Haley to run and get my camera. I know, not nice, but look....
It did take me a while to get him out. I thought that I was gonna have to break the stool. Don't worry, he's fine. (and so is the stool)

Wiggly one year olds

make me CRAZY. We drove up into the hills so that I could try to take some family photos. Silly little Jack would not sit still for anything. We probably aren't going to be able to have real family shots done until he's five so don't hold your breath. Here's a few that kind of turned out.

Cliff's Vacation

He's definately not a work-a-holic, but when it comes to getting away from work, He doesn't do it much. So, for his birthday this year, I got him a trip to Canada to go Salmon fishing. I guess I'll let him tell you (anyone who is interested) the rest of the story. But for now, he's already planning a trip to Alaska for next year.

trying out the tutu

I made tutu's for my girls this weekend but tried them out in photographs on my friend's little girl. Fun Stuff! I can't wait to get pics of Bella and Haley in these.

It's not that I have favorites or anything. It's just that Bella is home during the day when I'm most in the mood to experiment with my camera. When Haley sees the blog, she struts right to the same location and starts her posing. Then she waits anxiously for me to blog her beautiful pictures. Here you go, my beautiful Haley....


I had to edit this post so that I could add that she clapped when she came in the office and saw herself on the screen. Definately my Haley.

I got a new chair

However, all of the pictures that I took with the chair in it didn't look so good. All we got without fuzz was close ups. darn. It's a cute chair, but not as cute as Bella's big ol face! :)

Photo Shoot for a Friend

...did I mention that she was pregnant? I had so much fun. Adults are way easier to photograph than kids. They hold still and everything. Well, I hope that she likes them....

New Nicknames just for Cliff

Today we got the new Cabela's catalog in the mail and Bella asked if I had said that she got mail. I explained that I had said "CAbela" which was the name of a magazine that daddy really liked to look at. I then told her that maybe we should start calling her Ca-Bella and she would be daddy's all time favorite. She said that she just wanted to be called Bella, but maybe we should call her(pointing at big sister)Ca-Haley so dad would like her more.

Bella the Blogger...

Cliff came home from work today and the first thing that Bella said to him was, "Do you wanna see the pictures Mom blogged?" We both started laughing so hard. I had taken her to the park this morning with me to take some photos of a friends kid. I hadn't blogged them yet, but she knew what was coming. Here's a few anyway.

Haley's Turn

She saw the pictures that I took of Bella yesterday and wanted some of her own. Fine with me. I'm in the mood to capture the moment (or at least try). She also insisted that I do black and whites and put writing on them (notice the fake logo on one of the B&W's) You'll probably see a lot of posts coming cuz i'm having fun with the camera.....

Yeah! I found my manual mode on my little "point and shoot" camera. I'm just trying to figure it out....see if I can get some better snapshots of my kids. Haley was at school and Jack was asleep so Bella got to to be my model....What do you think?

Airplane

Grandpa Randy flew into town on Saturday. I took Bella and Jack to the airport to pick him up. Jack was amazed at the airplanes. He really wanted to go touch some of the fire-bombers that were flying in while we were there. He was pretty much in heaven. Like I said before, he's all boy.
